IVS is one of Japan’s largest startup conferences, launched in 2007. People in different positions—entrepreneurs, investors, operating companies, government officials, and students—gather around the creation of new businesses. In the past, it was an invitation-only closed conference centered on investors and startup executives, held repeatedly across Japan. Since 2023, it has shifted to a ticketed format, expanded its annual scale to 10,000 participants based in Kyoto, and grown into a platform for the entire startup ecosystem. --- IVSは、2007年に始まった日本最規模のスタートアップカンファレンスです。起業家、投資家、事業会社、行政、学生など、立場の異なる人たちが、新規事業創出を軸に集まります。 かつては投資家とスタートアップ経営者を中心とした招待制のクローズドカンファレンスとして全国で回を重ね、2023年からはチケット制に変更し、京都を拠点に年に規模を1万人に拡大。スタートアップエコシステム全体のプラットフォームとして成長してきました。
